Dear Parish Family,

With hearts full of gratitude, we share the joyful news that the papal conclave has

concluded and the Church has a new Shepherd. Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost has

been elected as the 267th successor of Saint Peter and has taken the name

Pope Leo XIV. We give thanks to God for His guidance and for the gift of our new

Holy Father. Let us keep him in prayer as he steps into this sacred mission.

Prayer for Our New Pope

Lord God,

We thank You for Your faithful love for the Church. Bless Pope Leo XIV

with strength, wisdom, and compassion as he leads us in faith.

May he be a true servant after the heart of Christ — proclaiming the Gospel

with courage, leading with humility, and drawing all hearts closer to You.

Pour out Your Spirit upon him in every moment of challenge and grace,

and may Our Blessed Mother protect and intercede for him always.

The Jubilee Prayer

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.
Amen.
